We headed to NYC. We made good time though hit some traffic on the NJ Turnpike. We saw smoke and then eventually we saw flames and as we passed it we saw that it was a burnt out van....crazy.
Up until this point of the trip, Cora had missed all tunnels and bridges (which there had been a number of memorable ones). She LOVED the Lincoln Tunnel going into NYC.
We checked into our hotel at Times Square....very busy place :) We missed our hotel valet the first time around so we drove around 2 blocks = 40 more minutes and then decided to park the car ourself. Well there was no way to get the luggage we had just emptied out of the car over to the hotel without someone "watching" it in both locations at all times. So we reloaded all our luggage drove to the valet parking spot and unloaded it again there. The girls were fantastic through all of this hassle. Once we checked into our room and looked at the view of Times Square....
Peter ran to TKTS to get Broadway tickets. So Peter and I went to Sister Act at the 8 PM show and the girls......hung out with Tia Meg and Miss Dana.
Meg & Dana took great care of the girls. They took them to dinner which at the time I did not know the task it would be to find a kid-friendly restaurant in Times Square. At Cora's request, they found a place that had chocolate milk.
