Eyes to the Sky

We celebrated Mother's Day & Father's Day with my parents in one event which we thought was perfect for them.... a hot air balloon festival with the company of their adorable grandchildren. It was in Lisle, IL at the beginning of July. We all had a good time. There was a lot of kid stuff to do and Dad really enjoyed watching the hot air balloons. It seemed like we wouldn't see the balloons as it was too windy BUT at the last minute they were able to inflate for about 45 minutes.

We appreciate Mom & Dad so much. They are so generous to us in many ways - time, gifts, babysitting, hugs, walks, and love. It is a blessing to have family so close and the girls love it as well as we do to.

watching the balloons inflate....what is wrong with this picture?
inflated balloons - cora's favorite was the curves' balloon as it was purple
the "balloon glow" (too windy so the balloon were deflating when this was suppose to happen)
