I can't believe we completed an entire dance year. Cora grew a lot as a student from the toddler who would run in circles, eat her "spot", hang on the ballet bar, and constantly ask Miss Tammi for stickers to a preschooler that did her best every week, stood on her spot when told, and learned a recital dance. The past week was quite full from pictures, to rehearsal, and to the recital - she was a good sport with few protests. For mommy there was a costume to alter, hair to do, makeup to apply (learning experience for all of us), and tights to put on. I also learned that you can receive A LOT of emails from a dance studio regarding topics you did not even think were relevant to a recital.
Picture Day with friends from class
Rehearsal Day
Recital Day
This is the face Cora made the entire performance. I think Avery was in her space a bit.
Big girl!
Gram came from Philly for the performance
Carrying around her flowers from Daddy & Mommy
Hugs from Grandmom
Granddad, Aunt Becca, and Miss Meghan also all attended the performance.
We appreciate each of you for taking the time to support our little one.
We were not able to video tape the recital because of copyright but I did get a video of the rehearsal. Cora's performance in the rehearsal was very similar to that in the recital - I think there was 1 more "jump" in the recital. Please bear with the quality of the video.
lisa! was a cute post. brings back so many memories for me. my sisters and i did dance from a very young age, for many years. sounds like she has really enjoyed it and learned a lot from being in a class setting. way to go cora!
