I am not sure how we have gotten this long without this happening. We knew it was going to happen sooner or later and were just waiting to see when. We also were curious as to how it would happen. But alas, this morning it happened.

Cora got out of her crib on her own. She can get into her crib no problem (we have heard and occasionally observed). This morning I got Kalli up first because she was fussing. I was changing her diaper when Cora "popped" into her room saying, "oh, hello - mommy. I just got out of my bed by myself this morning. I brought you new baby, brown baby, and junior asparagus. They are all going on a date with me and Aunt Becca today." I was surprised to see my little chatterbox but I must admit she was very pleasant and cute with her explanation of what happened. Maybe it was the excitement of having a date with Becca but whatever the reason, she got out of her crib. She took a nap no problem today and went to bed okay. So, we will not be transitioning her this week (at least we hope).
