"Kalli, you want to go on a walk, right?"

At the table last night right after dinner, Cora told us she wanted to play with her water table. We said, "no, don't think so tonight." She was silent for a moment and then said, "okay, then a walk." We listened to her keep talking about this walk she wanted to go on. Then she turned to Kalli, sitting in her bouncer on the floor, and said, "Kalli, you want to go on a walk, right?"Kalli as if on cue, started smiling and swinging her arms. Cora looked at us and asked, "can't Kalli go on a walk? she wants to. Daddy pull Cora in the wagon wagon and Kalli in the stroller with mommy pushing." We had a hard time saying no to our girls who were in cahoots against us. So on a walk the Lewis family went. (Note: this is not our typical parenting style nor do we think it is the best approach but worked well for a spontaneous walk)
