Dance Class

Coralyn started dance class today. The dance movement class will do both tap and ballet. It is only 30 minutes long so it is about 15 minutes of each. She goes to Lisa's School of Dance and the location is great as it allows me to drop Kalli off at my mom's for a nap before taking Cora to class.

Her class is for 2 and 3 year olds. The instructor told us we could sit in the room with the girls if our kids would prefer that but no parent did that. We all watched through a little window. No one cried and all seemed to enjoy the class. When the girls came out to change shoes, they all ran right back into the classroom for more dance. Coralyn did really well. She ran around more than the other girls but she is one of the youngest....I am sure in time she will be more "aware" of what the instructor wants. She was happy to learn that some of her favorite moves were part of the class - marching, walking on tip toes, and spinning.

The girls wore tutus from the instructor but Coralyn put it on but was quick to take her's off.
