We want our children to understand giving gifts and how special it can be to the giver as well as the recipient. So for Christmas Cora is giving Kalli a gift. Cora and I went to Target and she picked out the gift. Tonight Cora helped me wrap the gift (with Kalli sitting right by us of course). Cora talked me through the process and told me how important tape was. She then spoke of the "corners" and needing to wrap the paper around them. She let me wrap my corner....
while she wrapped her corner.....
When she was all done she told Peter..."I wrapped Kalli's present and IT is PER-fect!! I LOVE it!!" I am so glad that she thinks it is perfect because really it doesn't matter how nice it looks and we had a sweet time together wrapping it.
