I recently saw some answered prayer. This past year I was challenged in a bible study to pray specifically for our kids about one specific thing that we are most burdened for them. For me it became obvious that for Paysen I needed to be praying about her gross motor delays (not significant but enough that she qualified for PT weekly). We have seen improvement and she has taken her first step. She then did it at least 2 other times right then. Amazing that she was at least 3 months delayed at 9 months and on her 14 month birthday, she took her first step. At PT this week, I was telling the therapist that she has only taken those first steps. About five minutes later she saw a graham cracker and walked 4 steps to it. She realized it was on the ground and she can't bend down to reach it so then turned around and walked 3 steps back. She hasn't done anything like this since but she is getting there. I think she might secretly walk while we are sleeping ;) She isn't standing longer than a few seconds at a time but she has the "heart" to start walking. Love her! Blessed to see God working
Another answered prayer with her was at the lab in the hospital. She was getting blood drawn for some follow up appointments. The nurses were having a difficult time getting blood. One stick and the blood flow stopped before they filled one vial. A second stick and no blood ever flowed. I then started praying that the blood would start coming so she wouldn't need to come back on another day. The third stick and the blood came. Yay! This little girl sat there with no cries on one stick and only an initial cry with the stick before sitting calmly in her daddy's lap. The results showed she was healthy and great in all tested areas. There will be one more test at the end of the year to rule out one more condition that there is a slight chance that she could have. Keeping praying:)
