Mother's Day Highlights

What a sweet, honorable privilege to be called "Mommy." There are many names the girls are choosing to call each other in our house right now like - baby, bad guys, and best friend but my name is Mommy to these folks and I love that.

We went to church and then went to the Arboretum (like soooo many other families) and then met up with Grandma and Grandpa at Corner Bakery to wish her a special day.

A few highlights of the day....

We were trying many times to get a posed picture of the girls. Peter encouraged the girls to cooperate but I don't even know if any turned out.
(this is the one I captured on my cell phone)

The cutest homemade card from the girls with Peter's help that listed all the reasons why they love me. I could hear them telling him their answers and it was confirmation on what is probably signs of their love languages.

The girls tried their hardest to make it be a special day for me - Peter was so patient with them reminding them it was my special day and most times they quickly stopped whining or complaining.

Spending some time with my amazing, wonderful, godly, awesome mom!

And lastly the girls wearing their "lookers" (what they called them) from sunday school while talking in old man voices (unintentional) telling us how to get home, use the gps, and what to do (essentially they were backseat drivers).
