Mom Moment

We took the "big" girls to see a friend in the Little Mermaid Jr. It was such a great time. Our friend, Frances, was absolutely adorable in the performance and the girls were pretty mesmerized by the whole show.  It was a Mommy/Daddy Date for the girls and they thought that was the best.

But this post is really about me and the mom moment I had. We arrived at the theater. Cora and I were dropped off at the door so we could find our friends who had our tickets. We ran in the door and I realized that my feet are quite warm but there is something strange about the feel of the sole. I look down and see that I had forgotten to wear shoes but was wearing my slippers. WHAT?! Yes, I was the woman on a date with her daughters and husband but wearing my slippers. I wore them well but I was still wearing slippers.
