There are things I need to post about but I NEED to categorize receipts for my husband and the other posts have pictures associated with them and those pictures are still on the camera so this will be very brief.
Did you know there is something about Christmas music that is so peaceful to me? I just bought a new CD for Christmas and opened it up and put it on and an instant peace came over me. I can hear the same song over and over and it does not get old. How is that? Is it me, the music, the deeper meaning or the combo of it all? I do not know but my soul needed some peace and hearing songs about the coming babe and the hope, joy, and expectation all wrapped in that has done just that - flooded me with peace.
Well, at the Lewis House I have already started the Christmas music and it isn't Thanksgiving yet and I am okay with that.

I am right there with you. Though sometimes hearing a familiar hymn can create a similar feeling of peace in my soul, too. Maybe it's in part because we only allow ourselves a small portion of time to truly reflect on the true meaning if Christmas that Christmas music comforts in a unique way.
